Background/Summary: 

City staff is seeking the City Council’s ratification of its application for an Urban Forestry Grant from the Florida Department of Agriculture.  The grant application was submitted on September 30, 2021, and the deadline for the grant was October 1.  If a grant award is received, the funds will be used to improve the urban canopy in the City as well as the provision of free trees to City residents.

 

The trees would be of a native, non-invasive species.
