Background/Summary: 

On January 3, 2021, the City issued a solicitation for the design-build-finance of fire rescue services facilities. The two proposals received were reviewed by Procurement, and subsequently by the Evaluation Committee in a duly noticed meeting on March 31, 2021.

On April 28, 2021 The City Council received a presentation from Kaufman Lynn Construction group consisting of the following firms, Municipal Acquisitions; MCO Construction Services, Inc.; and Currie Sowards Aguila Architects will be presenting. The group selected as the local supplier is Brown Electric Solutions, Inc.

During the meeting, staff was requested to present financing options at a subsequent meeting. The City’s P3 financial advisor, PFM Financial Advisors, LLC (PFM), is preparted to provide the requested presentation.
