Background/Summary: 

At the April 21, 2021 City Council Meeting, it was discussed that I would engage the community on the selection of two African-American women to be featured on the water tank mural. They will be added to the two African-American men that were approved by the City Council previously. Therefore, two women are being offered to the City Council for approval as well.

 

Two community meetings were held and a survey was released to the community to gain feedback on the two most preferred women. The Office of the Mayor received a list of women from the community and they were added to the survey for a community response.
