The Civil Drug Court seeks to enter into an Interlocal Agreement provided by the County on May 7, 2021 for reimbursement not to exceed $401,700 ($133,900 annually) from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024 to service clients affected by substance abuse and mental health who are in need of treatment and aftercare services supported by a F/T case manager and community Court coordinator

Staff recommends Council to approve the three-year Interlocal Agreement.

Background/Summary: 

To approve a resolution to accept the Interlocal Agreement between Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Riviera Beach Civil Drug Court to provide a reimbursable amount not to exceed $133,900 annually from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024 for a total of $401,700 for continued F/T case manager staffing, F/T community coordinator staffing and support to the Civil Drug Court for services to citizens who are affected by substance abuse and mental health.
