| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | The continuing services contract for design, permitting, construction and installation of modular structures in accordance with RTQ 1008-20-4 was approved by Resolution 114-20 allowing the City to move forward with redevelopment and related construction projects necessary to develop, enhance and maintain the integrity of City facilities. City Staff developed a scope of work including building dimensions, parking demand, and driveway locations to facilitate pricing by Advanced Modular Structures pricing.
In a meeting with City Staff on Friday January 29, 2021 comprised of Executive staff, Fire Department, and Public Works a collective discussion ensued to address specific scope and schedule issues. With refining the scope and nature of the structures, the buildings proposed will provide for maximum reuse at other sites in the City as the Re-Imagine Riviera Beach Project is implemented.
The proposed structures are as follows:
Apparatus Bay 50’x80’ to house three apparatus.
Temporary Fire Station 50’x 60’ including bunks, day room, and office space.
Storage Building 40’x 80’ to house large scale and bulk items and material integral to Fire Operations. |
