Background/Summary: 

Project FACT (Fathers and Children Together) is a Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County fatherhood initiative whose mission is to empower fathers/father figures to become more engaged in the lives of their children as well as prepare boys and young men for the responsibilities of manhood.  All programs and services are free to fathers/fathers figures and their children.

 

One of our signature events is our Annual Father-Daughter Dinner & Dance held the Saturday before Valentine's Day.  This year it will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  The goal of this event is to create a safe, fun experience where fathers/father figures and their daughters have a memorable time bonding. Extra precautions will be in place to ensure that all CDC guidelines are followed.

 

The funds requested will help to cover the cost of meals, drinks and entertainment for 300 fathers and their children. The participating fathers will be from the Max Fisher Boys & Girls in Riviera Beach and the local schools in the area.
