A resolution approving a work order with All-Site Construction Inc. of West Palm Beach, Florida for construction and renovation services to the second floor of City Hall in the amount of $49,776; authorizing the City Manager to approve change orders up to ten percent (10%); and authorizing the Director of Finance and Administrative Services to make payment for same from Project 18010.


Recommendation/Motion: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the resolution.

Background/Summary: 

The continuing services contracts for renovation and construction services allows the City to move forward with redevelopment and/or renovation related construction projects necessary to develop, enhance and maintain the integrity of City facilities. City Staff invited all contractors approved under RFQ 1005-20-4 for a site walkthrough and distribution of construction plans. Staff received seven (7) proposals ranging from $49,776 to $230,625.

The proposed renovations to the second floor will prepare the old City Manager and Legal suites into an open concept space with twenty (20) workstations. The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and Code Compliance will relocate to this space. This space is adjacent to Development Services allowing for synergy between all development and construction activities within the City.
