Background/Summary:

As we continue to build upon the August 22, 2019, Strategic Planning Workshop sessions related to REIMAGINE Riviera Beach, please find attached the revised Site Visualization Plans, Options “A” through “D”, from the architects, Armando Trujillo and Alejandro Torres, representing BEA Architects, Inc. The plans were devised based upon information received during the recent information gathering sessions in which BEA determined the need to effectuate the following activities:

· Replacement of existing aging structures.

· Optimization of the use of existing City parcels.

· Creation of a central civic complex integrating all City functions and services.

· Enhancement of Recreational and Cultural facilities.

· Enhancement of training and employment opportunities for local residents.

· Envisioning and planning for a railway station which would tap into the regional rail transportation network.

· Allowing for Public/Private Partnerships for mixed-use developments of residential, commercial and retail space as a possible means to create a Civic Center Complex Project.
