Background/Summary: 

The Library’s Long-Range Strategic Plan must be approved by the library’s governing body and must include the upcoming fiscal year. Resolution No. 133-17 was approved at the November 28, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting, which authorized the Library to submit the FY2017-2020 Long- Range Strategic Plan along with FY2017-18 State Aid to Libraries Grant application.

The Library’s Long- Range Strategic Plan for FY 2017-2020 has expired and the Library is hereby requesting Council’s approval of a one – year extension of the Library’s current plan to allow for additional time to develop and publish a new plan.
