A resolution accepting the recommendation of staff and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a three year continuing services agreements to provide general construction and renovation services with All-Site Construction Inc, Built Solid Construction LLC., E&F Florida Enterprises Inc., Emerald Construction Corp., Helina Construction LLC., I.Q. Construction Inc., J and J Construction Corp., Newbold Construction Inc., Randolph Construction Group, Shamtec Inc., and Shawmut Design and Construction; and providing for two (2) additional twelve (12) month renewal options based upon the mutual consent of the parties.

Recommendation/Motion: Staff recommend that the City Council approve the Resolution.

Background/Summary: 

SUMMARY: The continuing services contracts for renovation and construction services will allow the City to move forward with redevelopment and/or renovation related construction projects necessary to develop, enhance and maintain the integrity of City facilities. Services to be provided under the contract may include, but are not limited to, general construction and renovations on existing City buildings and permitting through appropriate local agencies in accordance with Florida State Statutes.

 

In accordance with the City of Riviera Beach Procurement Code (Ordinance 4010), a Request for Qualifications (RTQ) was advertised in the “Legal Notices” section of the Palm Beach Post on September 10, 2020 to solicit qualified firms to provide Construction and Renovation Services.
