A resolution accepting the recommendation of staff and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a three year continuing services agreements to provide demolition service with The BG Group LLC, Dev-Land Demolition & Site Inc., and Alpha Wrecking Group; and providing for two (2) additional twelve (12) month renewal options based upon the mutual consent of the parties.

Background/Summary: 

SUMMARY:  The continuing services contracts for demolition services will allow the City to move forward with redevelopment and/or renovation related construction projects necessary to develop, enhance and maintain the integrity of City facilities. Services to be provided under the contract may include, but are not limited to, existing condition surveys, asbestos investigation, and general construction/demolition on existing City buildings and permitting through appropriate local agencies in accordance with Florida State Statutes.

 

In accordance with the City of Riviera Beach Procurement Code (Ordinance 4010), a Request for Qualifications (ITB) was advertised in the “Legal Notices” section of the Palm Beach Post on August 9, 2020 to solicit qualified firms to provide Demolition Services.
