Background/Summary: 

SUMMARY: The continuing services contracts for survey and engineering services will allow the City to move forward with all redevelopment and/or civil infrastructure related construction projects necessary to develop, enhance and maintain the integrity of the City. Services to be provided under the contract may include, but are not limited to, General Survey and Civil Engineering, Roadway Design, Water/Sewer Design including plan and profiles, stormwater analysis, and permitting through appropriate local agencies in accordance with Florida State Statutes.

 

BACKGROUND:  In accordance with the City of Riviera Beach Procurement Code (Ordinance 4010) and consistent with Florida Statue 287.055 a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was advertised in the “Legal Notices” section of the Palm Beach Post on September 7, 2020 to solicit qualified firms to provide Professional Engineering and Consulting Services.

 

Consistent with the requirements of Florida statute 287.055, the consultant competitive negotiation act these firms were evaluated and ranked based on the criteria established in the City’s RFQ. As indicated in the RFQ, four engineering and four survey firms would be selected for this continuing services contract.
