Background/Summary: 

In 2019, the City Council provided direction to staff to halt construction on the Monroe Heights Roadway Project during evaluation and community engagement. Over the past year, the Project remained in its current condition absent the final lift of asphalt and new striping. 

At this time, staff has been directed to make provision for installing the final lift of asphalt and complete the project.  Rosso Site Development is currently the contractor rebuilding 26th Court east of Avenue “M” and can pave Monroe Heights while they complete the paving on 26th Court.
