Background/Summary: 

The city council expressed interest in conducting a census challenge among themselves to assist with increasing the city’s census response rate. In doing so, members of the elected body will implement activities in the community to bring awareness and increase participation in the census.

 

City staff serving in the Census Outreach Taskforce will provide information and support towards the discussion on this item. The goal of the discussion is for the City Council to decide on how they would like to implement the Census Challenge.
