Background/Summary: 

Every year since 2009, the Riviera Beach Public Library has submitted a State Aid to Libraries grant application to the State Library and Information Services Division of Florida.    On November 25, 2019, the Library submitted its annual State Aid grant application and received notification on February 24, 2020 that an award in the amount of $22,612 is being granted to the Library for FY2019-2020. 

 

To date, the Library applied for and was awarded State Aid grant funds totaling $239,689.  These funds are used to defray the cost of day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Library and not for the purchase or construction of a library building or library quarters, as specified in the State's Guidelines and Application, Section IX, "Use of Grant Funds," Subsection B.
