Background/Summary:

The City of Riviera Beach FY19 budget provides $6 million dollars in funding for the design and reconstruction of Fire Station #88. Due to the size and orientation of the parcel, the existing fire operations will not be able to remain in the existing facility.

At the September 18, 2019 Council Meeting, the purchase of a temporary facility was approved to provide a location and space for operations to continue during the design and construction phase of the project. Due to the ongoing concerns of the Fire Department staff, the projects are being expedited to provide state of the art facilities for First Responders.

Palm Beach County has issued solicitation for demolition services, Project Number 18341. Accordingly, the City will enter into a cooperative purchase agreement with the listed vendors to provide service to the City.

Four bids for the demolition were received, and Arbor Tree & Land dba. ATL Diversified Industries was the lowest responsive bidder.
