Recommendation/Motion: 

Ratify the submission of grant application to the Florida Recreation Assistance Program for renovations to Goodmark Park.

Originating Dept Parks and Recreation Richard Blankenship 561-845-4070  Costs $50,000 grant with no match requirement to be included in the 2021 CIP.

Background/Summary: 

The Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program funding cycle is now taking applications. Staff is requesting ratification of an application for renovations to Goodmark Park. The application is for $50,000 and does not require a match.

 

The improvements would include new court and site lighting, renovations to the basketball court, picnic shelter and new site furnishings.
