Background/Summary: 

The City received an application for site plan (SP-18-22) and plat approval (PA-18-03) associated with 1649 Avenue L, identified by parcel control numbers 56-43-42-29-11-016-0031; 56-43-42-28-31-016-0031.  The subject property has an Industrial Future Land Use designation and a General Industrial Zoning designation. This site is currently occupied by the applicant, Newman Windows and Doors.  The applicant desires to renovate the existing building and site by reconfiguring the existing warehouse (office and showroom) interior space, and exterior parking areas.  These renovations require site plan approval within the General Industrial Zoning District.

 

On September 12, 2019, the Planning and Zoning Board reviewed the subject site plan application (SP-18-22along with corresponding documents and City staff reportand recommended approval to the City Council.  City Staff recommends approval of this Resolution to City Council.
