| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | In September 2018, Council was briefed on an initiative by the Make an Impact Foundation, United Way of Palm Beach County, WPEC TV 12 and other donors to replace four playgrounds in the City of Riviera Beach.
The group has raised more than half of the funds needed and Councilman McCoy wishes to contribute $45,000 to the project to complete Timber Pines playground replacement, which is the first replacement in the City.
The remaining playgrounds for replacement are Goodmark Park, Sadie McCray Park and a conversion of the playground at Dan Callaway to an all inclusive playground. Fundraising efforts will begin for those projects shortly.
