The City's application for the Lake Worth Lagoon Funding Initiative Grant seeks to attain financial resources to acquire submerged land which is in danger of development.   It is hopeful that receipt of this grant award will provide the City with an opportunity to protect and preserve such submerged land in perpetuity.  In concert,  the grant application requires that the Lake Worth Lagoon Management Plan be adopted by the City Council.
