| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | The city has been approached by Hammerhead Productions to use the Municipal Beach Park and adjacent street to produce (6) festival type events. The event themes are: August 31 and September 1, 2019- Blues and BBQ, November November 8,9 and 10, 2019- Food and Craft Festival, December, 14 and 15, 2019 Holiday Celebration, January 17, 18 and 19, 2020 Food and Art Festival, February 8,9 and 10 2020 Seafood Festival and March 27, 28 and 29, 2020 Salute to Riviera Beach Police and Fire Food and Craft Festival.
Each event will carry its own permit application and process so that staff can monitor the success and viability of each event and the producer and maintain per event quality control. Each event carries it own fees and the event maker pays cost such as security associated with the event.
The producers have included in the event plan that each event will benefit a local charity.
