Subject: The Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties has donated $22,500 to the City from the Richard and Leslie Stone Family Fund. The donation is for the implementation of the Richard Relford and Kenny Anderson Basketball Academy as well as other programs that benefit the community.
Recommendation/Motion: Approve acceptance of donation form the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties in the amount of $22,500.

Background/Summary: 

For the past several years, the City has received a donation from the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties Richard and Leslie Stone Family Fund that allows the city to offer the Richard Relford and Kenny Anderson Basketball Academy as well as offer other community benefits such as scholarships, sponsorship and educational enrichment.

 

The Academy is 10 weeks long and is free to all middle and high school students with a desire to improve their athletic skills and abilities.
