| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | The City will need to provide planning, architectural and engineering design and construction oversight services. REG Architecture Inc., as one of the City’s continuing services consulting firms authorized under Resolution No. 77-17, is qualified to not only provide the services, but it is also capable of meeting the stringent project deadlines. Given the magnitude of the proposed construction project, staff feels that design and oversight by a qualified architectural firm is necessary to ensure that project deadlines and milestones are met.
Staff requests that City Council approve the work order with REG Architecture, Inc., of West Palm Beach, Florida for planning, architectural and engineering design and construction oversight services for Fire Station #3 to oversee the assurance that planning, design and construction activities are conducted in conformance and that it is certified in accordance with all applicable agencies when completed in the amount of $460,000. |
