| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | Avenue “M” Neighborhood Improvement Project has been scheduled for reconstruction for fiscal year 2018-19. The project consists of demolition of the roadway, construction of asphalt pavement roadway, water system, sanitary sewer system, curb, gutter and improvements of sidewalks. The project was advertised for bids on February 4, 2019. Seven bidders submitted bids ranging from $423,000.00 to $730,832.90. The lowest bid was submitted by Almazan Construction based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Purchasing Department has reviewed the bids and recommends award of bid to the lowest responsive bidder, Almazan Construction in the amount of $423,000.00.
Based on the bid results, staff requests City Council approval of contracting with Almazan Construction. |
