| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | During the first week of February 2019, individuals from the Fire Department expressed concern for the roof and potential leaking at Fire Station 88. Staff engaged a roofing contractor to investigate the leak and while on the roof determined that additional structural investigation was necessary. The week of February 18, 2019, site inspections were conducted by a structural engineer at Fire Station 88. Following the determination and recommendation of the structural engineer, on March 1, 2019 Bader Group inspected the roof for pricing and immediately began the construction of the Roof Replacement at Fire Station No. 88.
Staff requests that City Council approve a contract with Bader Group of Boynton Beach, Florida for the Roof Replacement at Fire Station No. 3. |
