ON NOVEMBER 30, 2018 THE RIVIERA BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY SUBMITTED A STATE AID TO LIBRARIES GRANT APPLICATION TO THE STATE LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES DIVISION OF FLORIDA.  ON FEBRUARY 27, 2019 THE LIBRARY RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF THE AWARD BEING GRANTED TO THE LIBRARY IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,836.  THESE FUNDS WILL BE USED AS SPECIFIED IN THE STATE'S GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION, SECTION IX, "USE OF GRANT FUNDS," SUBSECTION B, "FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE LIBRARY AND NOT FOR THE PURCHASE OR CONSTRUCTION OF A LIBRARY BUILDING OR LIBRARY QUARTERS."
