Background/Summary: 

The Planning and Zoning Board is a nine member advisory board of the City Council, comprised of seven primary positions and two alternate positions.  All members are appointed by the City Council and serve in a voluntary capacity.  This board is primarily tasked with reviewing Site Plan Applications and new Land Development Regulations.

Mr. Anthony Brown, an Alternate Board Member, has expressed interest in becoming a Primary Board Member and filling the one Primary Member vacancy.  The Planning and Zoning Board has also discussed and supported this request during previous meetings.

City staff recommends appointing Alternate Board Member, Mr. Anthony Brown, to a Primary Member position on the Planning and Zoning Board.
