Background/Summary: 

City staff received an application from Ms. Jill Colgan for the Singer Island Beach Polo Special Event.  The event is primarily proposed on the beach sand area adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, with use of the Municipal Beach Park as well as road closure of Ocean Avenue from 8:00AM to 6:00PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019.  Although all event logistics have not been finalized at this time, an approval resolution from City Council supporting this event will allow the applicant to coordinate and finalize all necessary items, including finalizing sponsorship packages.
