Subject: City Council desires to continue to retain the services of  PROPERTY REGISTRATION CHAMPIONS, LLC, (PRC) DBA PROCHAMPS, to provide services for the property registration compliance program on behalf of the City of Riviera Beach
Recommendation/Motion: 

AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH, FLORIDA AND PROPERTY REGISTRATION CHAMPIONS, LLC, (PRC) DBA PROCHAMPS, TO PROVIDE REGISTRATION OF FORECLOSED AND MORTGAGED REAL PROPERTY COMPLIANCE SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. 4024. PRC SHALL RETAIN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OF EACH COLLECTED FEE AND REMIT THE BALANCE TO THE CITY FOR THREE (3) YEARS COMMENCING FROM THE EFFECTIVE DATE; WITH RENEWAL OPTION FOR ONE ADDITIONAL CONSECUTIVE TWENTY-FOUR MONTH PERIOD.

Originating Dept PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT  Costs PRC shall retain one hundred dollars ($100) of each collected Fee and remit the balance to the CITY.

Background/Summary: 

 

To the best of our knowledge Property Registration Champions Corp., a Florida Corp. and a Community Champions Company ("PRC") dba "PROCHAMPS", is the single provider of enforcement services for the property registration compliance program in conjunction with City of Riviera Beach Ordinance 4024. The attached PROCHAMPS letter, dated 8/21/17, is written in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statute, Section 287.057(3)(c). Property Registration Champions, LLC, (PRC) dba PROCHAMPS was formerly Federal Property Registration Corp., and entered into an agreement on October 16, 2013 providing these services to the City of Riviera Beach. The City Council desires to continue to retain the services of PRC, to provide services for the property registration compliance program on behalf of the City of Riviera Beach.
