Background/Summary: 

The City’s Code of Ordinances regulates land use within the City’s municipal jurisdiction.  The City Code Section regulating mobile vendor uses was most recently amended in 2017 by Ordinance No. 4103.  The City Council directed staff to amend the current mobile vendor ordinance to allow for vendors to leave vehicles and equipment on site after permitted hours of operation have ended.  The Planning and Zoning Board reviewed the proposed ordinance amendment on October 11, 2018, and recommended that City Council not amend the mobile vendor ordinance, and to leave it as currently written, by a 5 to 1 vote.

 

City staff recommends City Council review of this Ordinance.
