Background/Summary: 

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection Recreational Trails Program funding cycle is open. Staff proposes a $100,000 grant to construct a walking and exercise trail around the perimeter of the park.

 

This would be an ADA accessible hard surface trail for public use.

 

There is a match required. The higher the match the more scoring points. Staff would recommend a 40% match.

 

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board approved this submittal.
