Background/Summary: 

The Riviera Beach Housing Authority has requested the City to provide $567,500 local match in the form of a grant to the Riviera Beach Housing Authority to be used as a tax credit incentive associated with Phase II of the Heron Estates initiative.  Phase II entails development of seventy nine affordable rental units for familiies and veterans.

III. Review Comments

A. Finance Department Comments:
There are currently no funds set aside for this project. Should the Housing Authority receive an award for low income tax credits, The City would then need to amend the Capital Plan. Funding this project would remove reduce funding for other City capital needs.
