Background/Summary:

The city is in the process of renovating Cunningham Park. While the completion is near we have one additional opportunity to receive grant funds for the renovation. In light of the fact that the grant selection process is based on a points system it is important that we apply for projects with point value. With the size and complexity of Cunningham Park it is believed this will give the application a competitive edge in the selection process.

The application is for $50,000 and does not require a match.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board endorsed this submittal at the September 15, 2018 meeting.
