Background/Summary: 
SUMMARY:  Request is that City Council authorizes a three percent (3%) salary adjustment effective upon approval of the resolution for department heads, administrative, supervisory and confidential and unclassified part-time personnel.  Funds to cover these increases have been included in the 2017 - 2018 Fiscal Year Budget.
 
The City is still in negotiations with bargaining unions except PBA.

 

The aforementioned employees are not covered by any bargaining unit.  The City Council historically has granted this class of employees a rate increase.

 
At this time, City Administration requests that City Council approves the Resolution granting the three percent (3%) salary adjustment effective October 1, 2017 upon approval of the resolution.
 
Attached are copies of the Job Classification Lists reflecting the three percent (3%) salary adjustment to the wages for department heads, administrative, supervisory and confidential and unclassified part-time personnel.
 
City Administration recommends approval of the resolution.
