Background/Summary: 

Millennia Housing Management, LTD, (Millennia) has requested approval of a Settlement Agreement associated with Code Enforcement liens for the property known as 1555 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, parcel control number 56-43-42-32-06-000-0090.  A fine of $250.00 currently accrues daily.   The amount due, as of August 20, 2018, totals $377,250.    Millennia has applied for site plan approval (SP-17-05), abandonment of associated Right-of-Way, and also a text amendment for off-street parking.  Millennia has identified the Settlement Agreement as an essential component of successful project implementation since they cannot obtain a clear title with the City’s Code Enforcement Liens in place.

 

City staff recommends City Council consideration of this resolution. 

 

Please note that this Resolution is interconnected with an Ordinance for Right-of-Way abandonment, an Ordinance associated with amendment off-street parking ratios and also a Resolution for Site Plan approval.
