Background/Summary: 

Staff conducted the request for proposal process for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The RFP was published in the Palm Beach Post on May 13,2018 and on Demand Star on  May 14, 2018. At the close of the proposal period there were 1131 views, 10 plan holders and 2 submittals. On July 12, 2018 an evaluation committee consisting of the Parks and Recreation Director, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director, Aquatics Superintendent, Interim Community Services Director, City Engineer and Interim Senior Procurement Specialist convened to review and evaluate the 2 proposals. The 2 firms were Miller Legg and Aecom. 

 

Aecom ranked highest in the evaluation.

 

Staff is seeking authorization to negotiate final and best offer prior to entering into a contract.
