Background/Summary:

Over the last 7 years the City has replaced, expanded and rebuilt the City Marina Docks which were at the end of useful life primarily using grant funding. A total of approximately 19.4 million dollars has been expended at the Marina of which 14.7 million dollars was grant funding contributed to JH Sprague Consulting, LLC.

Staff recommends submitting a grant application for funding to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for assistance in funding Dock E. If approved, this funding will complete the last dock portion adjacent to the seawall at the south end of the Marina. It is a 14 ft wide 160 ft long concrete floating dock similar to the rest of floating main docks at the marina and will tie in existing docks that go east presently from the seawall. The dock will have 30/50/100 amp single phase power, water and seweage pump-out. The dock will be accessed from Docks D and Docks F by two gangways.
