Background/Summary: 

SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program) was initiated in 2017 by Councilwoman Lynne Hubbard and approved by Council to implement a (8) week summer work program for youth and young adults ages 16-21.  These youth and young adults would have to reside in the City of Riviera Beach to participate in this program.  Youth and Young adults would also be participate in job readiness classes prior to job placement. Employment placements for the youth and young adults is through collaborative partnerships with external business partnerships; as well as internal partnerships with City departments.
