| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | PUBLIC LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION GRANT AGREEMENT # 17-PLC-04 WAS AWARDED DURING THE 2016 FLORIDA LEGISLATIVE SESSION IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000 OF A MATCHING GRANT, FOR A PROJECT WITH AN ESTIMATED TOTAL OF $10,850,000 AND A COMPLETION DATE OF JUNE 2019. AFTER A SERIES OF CRITICAL DELAYS, STAFF RECOMMENDED IN FEBRUARY 2018 FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT AND THE EXTENSION WAS AWARDED FROM JUNE 2019 TO DECEMBER 30, 2020 FOR A TOTAL OF 18 MONTHS.
THE STATE'S APPROVED EXTENSION (AMENDMENT 1) CONSISTS OF CHANGES MADE IN THE FOLLOWING THREE (3) SECTIONS OF THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION GRANT AGREEMENT:
