On November 2, 2017 at a Special City Council meeting Ms. Hoskins was interviewed and hired as the Interim City Manager for a period not to exceed 90 days.  To avoid missing the 90 day deadline, at the December 6, 2017, Council meeting, Council approved by 4/1 vote, employing Ms. Hoskins as the City Manager until a new City Manager is hired at the rate of $150,000 plus benefits.
