Background/Summary:

The Utility Special District would like to utilize the cooperative agreement approved by Resolution 119-17; authorizing the City of Riviera Beach Procurement Department to participate in the procurement of goods and services that have been publicly solicited by other Governmental entities.

The City of Riviera Beach, Utility Special District’s GPS unit is in need of repair and is also outdated and not sufficient for the data that needs to be collected.

The three new units being requested are more accurate, efficient and integrates with Geographic Information Systems Technology.

The primary purpose of these units will allow outfield crews to collect water and sewer features with high accuracy capabilities and precision; the unit also allows the crews to use their own smart phones or tablets for increased mobility and ease of access.
