- SEPTEMBER 2014 - THE RIVIERA BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY'S ADOPTED LONG-RANGE STRATEGIC PLAN 2014-2017 ADDRESSED THE CITIZENS' DESIRE FOR A NEW LIBRARY.
- MAY 2015 - THE LIBRARY SUBMITTED A PUBLIC LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF STATE'S DIVISION OF LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES.
- JULY 2016 - THE PUBLIC LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION GRANT AWARD LETTER WAS RECEIVED IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000 WITH A GRANT COMPLETION DEADLINE OF JUNE 1, 2019.
