Subject: Resolution authorizing a 3 Year Lease Agreement with Dell Inc for 70 Dell Latitude 15 Rugged 5414 Laptops for the Riviera Beach Police Department
Recommendation/Motion: 

SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute and sign the lease agreement for 70 Dell Rugged Laptops for the Police Department.

 

           

 

            Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval by the City Council.

Background/Summary: 

WHEREAS, the City of Riviera Beach Information Technology Department seeks to lease 70 Dell Latitude 14 Rugged 5414 Laptops for the Riviera Beach Police Department, and

 

WHEREAS, this lease enables the creation of a Police Department Computer Replacement program providing automatic secure disposal and renewal of equipment, and

 

WHEREAS, the Riviera Beach Police Department has 50 Laptops that are due for disposal but are still out in the field working in live production, and

 

WHEREAS, this lease agreement provides the Police Department with 50 replacement laptops, 10 laptops for spares and 10 laptops for Department expansion.
