| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | The Over the Water Marina Fuel Office Building has been scheduled for construction for fiscal year 2017-18. The project consists of the addition of a fuel office building on piles at the east end of pier “D”. The project was advertised for bids on November 27, 2016. Three bidders submitted bids. The lowest bid was submitted by West Construction, Inc. based in Lantana, Florida. The Purchasing Department has reviewed the bids and recommends award of bid to the lowest bidder, West Construction, Inc. in the amount of $852,255.00. Staff recommends that the City Council award the bid for construction of the Over the Water Marina Fuel Office Building project to West Construction, Inc.
Based on the bid results, staff requests City Council approval of contracting with West Construction, Inc. to provide construction services for the construction of the Over the Water Marina Fuel Office Building. |
