| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | On July 19, 2017, the City Council approved Resolution No. 86-17 authorizing the construction of the Riviera Beach Heights Community Center project. During construction the City will need to provide architectural and engineering post design and construction oversight services. West Architecture + Design, LLC, as one of the City’s continuing services consulting firms authorized under Resolution No. 77-17, are qualified to not only provide the services, but are also capable of meeting the stringent project deadlines. Given the magnitude of the proposed construction project, staff feels that oversight by a qualified architectural firm is necessary to ensure that project deadlines and milestones are met.
Staff requests that City Council approve the work order with West Architecture + Design, LLC of Lantana, Florida for architectural and engineering Post Design And Construction Oversight Services for the Riviera Beach Heights Community Center to oversee that the construction is completed in conformance to the approved plans and permits and to certify the project to all applicable agencies when completed in the amount of $50,280.00. |
