Background/Summary: 
On July 24, 2016, Oscar Rivera-Nunez injured his lower back, left and right knee, and neck when he was hit from behind while stopped at a red light by a Riviera Beach police officer.  On August 17, 2016, Mr. Riviera-Nunez filed a claim against the City. Mr. Rivera-Nunez's attorney negotiated with attorneys for the City of Riviera Beach, Risk Management and representatives of Gallagher Bassett, to settle the claim for $96,000 which includes attorney's fees and costs.
