| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | Yacht Harbor Manor Roadway Improvements (Singer Island South),has been scheduled for reconstruction for fiscal year 2017-18. The project consists of demolition of the roadway, installation of exfiltration trench for water quality treatment, construction of new concrete pavement roadway, water system, sanitary sewer system, curb, gutter and installation of sidewalks. The project was advertised for bids on August 3, 2017. Two bidders submitted bids ranging from $8,642,718.85 to $9,637,806.76. The lowest bid was submitted by Giannetti Contracting Corporation based in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Purchasing Department has reviewed the bids and recommends award of bid to the lowest bidder, Giannetti Contracting Corporation in the amount of $8,642,718.85. Staff recommends that the City Council award the bid for reconstruction of Yacht Harbor Manor Roadway Improvements (Singer Island South) to Giannetti Contracting Corporation.
Based on the bid results, staff requests City Council approval of contracting with Giannetti Contracting Corporation to provide construction services for the reconstruction of Yacht Harbor Manor Roadway Improvements (Singer Island South). |
