Background/Summary: 

Parks and Recreation services, facilities and functions are vital to all aspects of a community. While not all Citizens use other municipal services it is safe to say that ALL residents are touched in one way or another by Parks and Recreation.

 

The citizens and visitors to Riviera Beach enjoy a parks system of 13 parks, including a beachfront park that is known regionally and nationally for its features and events. Recreation programming that serves all ages can be utilized on a daily basis. 

 

Many residents identify with a park or program within our system. Lifetime friendships were fostered in the parks system, lifelong memories were experienced in the parks system and the parks system is a source of pride for the residents of Riviera Beach.

 

The term "It Starts In Parks" is no more evident than in the City of Riviera Beach
