T.E.A.M. Elam was formed to help combat violence and negative influences by introducing the youth to an array of positive influences and equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in life through our provided programs, role models, and community events
The T.E.A.M. Elam Foundation, a non-profit 501©3 organization founded in June 2008 by former NFL player Abram Elam. He now has partnered with his brother Matt Elam of the Baltimore Ravens. The foundation is one of the greatest achievements and a true representation to giving back to the youth of America.
Every year, T.E.A.M. Elam hosts “A Day in the Park” where 2,500 youth and families are able to experience a fun-filled day with food, giveaways, live music, and activities for all ages. It also includes resources to motivate and educate the community about the importance of collaboration, family involvement, and unity.
This year marks the Ten Year Anniversary of the T.E.A.M. Elam Charity Weekend Celebration. It will be held from Thursday July 13th to Saturday July 15th, 2017.
On Friday, July 14th a Football Camp will be held at Wells Recreation Community Center. Activities include: 7-on-7 Passing Tournament, Football Skills Camp, Cheerleading camp, and a Reading Oasis.
On Saturday, July 15th `` A Day in the Park`` will be held at Dan Calloway Recreation Complex. Activities include: Championship 7-on-7 game, talent show, music, vendors, and more.
