In follow-up to the City Council meeting of April 5, 2017, consistent mutual negotiations between both parties, namely Viking (Riviera Beach Maritime Academy Corporation) and the City (City Manager’s Office) have taken place.   As a result of the cooperative discussions, representatives of the City Manager’s Office and Viking are positioned to make formal presentations to the City Council to share the findings realized as a part of this process. 

In an effort to perpetuate progress, at the conclusion of this Presentation, the City Manager’s Office is requesting that the City Council formally provide staff with instructions on how to move forward with this Project.  Accordingly, in compliance with City Council’s directive, staff will draft the necessary and appropriate documents to effectuate the close-out of this transaction.
